Vidya Dan Samiti, a prestigious institution of North Karnataka has successfully completed one hundred years and till now more than ten affiliated institutions are imparting education to the students through this institution. Among these institutions   VDS Classic Primary and Higher Primary English Medium School is one of the institutions which started on 10/06/2012 with one teacher and two students temporarily in a rented building.

The classes were officially started with LKG and UKG on 10/06/2013 by the Government of Karnataka through 4 rooms in a separate space within the premises of the VDS Classic Primary and Higher Primary English Medium School.  In 2013, the Pooja ceremony of the school building was performed by Sri Vishweshwar Theertha Swamiji of Pejavar Math, Udupi.
